4-Day Girls' Trip to Iceland! Hot Springs, Waterfalls + Spa Days

The blue lagoon is a must visit destination for a girls' trip to Iceland
Published 2025

Anything better than a girls’ trip? Nope, it’s the ultimate vibe. It’s kind of like therapy, but way more fun. And Iceland’s got everything for a laid-back but adventurous girls’ getaway.

The highlights? You can soak in amazing hot springs (hello, the Blue Lagoon and Mývatn Nature Baths), explore waterfalls that look straight out of a movie, and indulge in some epic spa treatments.

Plus, ReykjavĂk has awesome restaurants and bars, so there's plenty of good food and fun vibes. Oh, and the Northern Lights (late Sept-late March)? Total bucket list moment.

But before we get into the itinerary, let’s discuss the best places to stay in Reykjavik for your ultimate girls’ getaway.

Best hotels in Reykjavik for a girls’ getaway

You’ve only got three nights (four days), so it’s important to make them count. You’ll need a central location close to the action—but it also needs to be relaxing with a touch of luxury. After all…you’ll want to leave Iceland radiating all sorts of happy vibes, right?

Black Pearl Apartments (pictured above), near Old Reykjavik Harbour, is my fave hotel recommendation for a girls’ wellness and spa trip in Iceland. The more affordable CityHub is also a great option. Check them out and see what you think.
